Ascent

In my journey towards
Ascent
I cannot do anything but to
Repent.
On the journey towards
Immortality
I can often only sense
Fatality.

Rise or fall
You may.
But I can still tell
That I should obey.

Divine rules are set
And if I abide by them
I may not regret
This journey that you have taken me on
Towards
A heaven that many do not know.

Right here you may make it
A living hell
or infinity.
For all I know is that love’s
Grace
Will always be with
Me.
